Our experience in this area extends back to the early 1990’s when we formed a specialist department to deal with the management of apartment blocks. Our current portfolio of over 5000 flats ranges from low rise to multi-storey, purpose built and conversions. Geographically it stretches from Brighton in the South to Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in the North.
The administration and accounting services are provided from our offices in Wetherby, but we recognise that apartment owners prefer to deal with representatives from their own area and as such have maintenance surveyors based in the North West, Midlands and South East of England in order to provide a personalised service.
We believe that the computerised management system that we use is the only system specifically designed to deal with the management of apartment blocks. This gives us a competitive advantage as the system provides us with an efficient and comprehensive service including budget preparation, accounting, expenditure control and works order tracking. All of our management surveyors can dial into the system to get current information.
Watson Property Management is one of the very few firms which are both members of the RICS and ARMA which would deal with this type of management outside the South East of England.
